| Still Alive! I'm swamped at work and honestly I don't think it will ever let up. Not a big deal, but I better get a big raise when it comes time else I'll be pissed. Our system is kind of dumb, it pretty much says you will get the average raise (3.5%) unless you were in the top 10% of your department. I've been doing so many peoples jobs right now that I better get the above average raise this year. Just to note our raises or different than promotions (I've had several of those). Aside from that though we re-did our kitchen floor the past few days. Looks pretty darn nice. This weekend it's off to see Evanscence in concert. | | |
| Well vacation is over and now I'm sick. Figures, but atleast I didn't get sick during the vacation as that would have been a real bummer. We had lots of fun and had a blast with Bryan. It was interesting on the way back home on Sunday night cause Bryan kept telling us he didn't want to go home and we tried to explain we had no choice. Than suddenly he just started crying like he had his arm cut off. Diana went to the backseat and held him and when we got him to calm down he said he was crying because he was sad that we had to go home. LoL...cause that's how a 3yr old reacts to post vacation blues. | | |
| Vacation Time Baby! Yep, I'm finishing up about my last hour of work before I don't have to do anything for the next 11 days. So what's planned, seems like a lot but nothing that will carry us too far from home. Tomorrow I'm going golfing with some guys from work. Monday night we have the city's fireworks display to go too. Thursday starts the real fun when we head up to Wisconsin Dells the waterpark capital of the world with my parents and some of my brothers. We will spend Thursday and Friday at a combination waterpark/go-kart/coaster park. Saturday we will head over to Milwaukee where we are going to go to the zoo. Sunday we will attend a Cubs game in Milwaukee with my brother and his girlfriend. Finally we head back home with one day of rest on Monday before heading back to work. | | |
| Small update here. I guess the people changed lenders and now they can get the loan and so the house is kind of officially sold again. Atleast I hope it is since they have an inspector coming next week. Also, turns out the contractor on our new house has kind of stopped working on it cause he didn't want to proceed until our house sold. So he must believe it's sold now cause we are meeting him on Saturday to pick out lights. I think we are also suppose to pick out paint too...that will be the hard part. | | |
